Plan to arrive by 3:30 p.m., driver meeting 3;45 p.m., launch at 4:15 p.m. Ride will take about an hour as we cruise on some Miata made roads, around a local lake, along a river and across a unique one lane bridge before we end up at Mallow Run Winery.
Our final destination will be Mallow Run Winery located at 6964 Whiteland, Bargersville IN (this is just off of RT37). The winery will be featuring the band Toy Factory, who will be playing a FREE concert from 6pm until 9pm. They play a wide range of music from Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Prince, Kool & the Gang, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Earth, Wind & Fire, etc. They were voted the 2018 Best Local Cover Band in Indy
Mallow Run Winery permits only their wine on the property. You can bring in your own food, but various food trucks will be available as well. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket! Should be an enjoyable evening with fellow Miata owners and live entertainment.

In keeping with the informality of previous Marietta Madness weekends, this year's event will allow you to participate as much as you'd like with the group or venture off on your own with your favorite navigator - it's up to you!
We'll be leaving from the McDonalds at I-70 exit 96 (Mt Comfort) on the eastside of Indy early Friday morning, June 9th at 9AM for a 9.30 departure. Lunch grab and gas on the SE side of Columbus before hitting the curves towards Marietta. Choose your own lodging in Marietta.
There is not a headquarter hotel, per se. There are plenty of hotel choices for all budgets, from the super-clean and inexpensive Microtel Inn (a personal favorite) to full feature Hotels with all the amenities (Fairfield Inn, Comfort Suites, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, etc.). So make your reservations now for June 9 and 0nd avoid possible rate increases. Make your hotel reservations ASAP!
the gathering and start point for Saturday's group drive and riverside picnic will be in front of the Fairfield Inn & Suites - 200 Cherry Tree Ln, Marietta, OH 45750. Dinners are on your own, but we inevitably meet up somewhere popular, like Marietta Brewing Co, Boathouse BBQ, Harmers Tavern, etc. Really depends on the size and 'character' of the group attending that year and plans are made on the fly. Sunday, again on your own, but the same applies - return routes are discussed, usually involving one more run south to north from Little Hocking to Zanesville on 555, the Triple Nickel, and those interested gathering a bit later for the group drive back west.
Sunday is yours to explore Marietta and it's surrounding roads on your own. Pick your departure time or make plans with other members for the trek back to Indy. We would highly suggest a return ride from Little Hocking, Ohio on the Ohio River north to Zanesville on the famous Triple Nickel and perhaps beyond - directions will be available!
For those that might not have known Brian, he was an active member of the club and very much loved zoomin' in his orange Miata.
June's event is on the road and will take place in Greenwood at Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Park in the Jockamo or The Suds lot. Note, Suds is closed on Monday's.
Come out for good food, drinks and lot's of Miata talk on the southside of Indy! Greenwood here we come!
