This year marks the 17th Annual Marietta Madness when Indy Miata returns to Southeast Ohio’s incredible assortment of roads the weekend of May 16-18, 2025. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to visit one of the premier Miata Playgrounds in the eastern US. The advantage to these roads in Southeast Ohio is very little traffic, and smooth, wide asphalt roads. But Marietta isn’t just about the roads. The town of Marietta has many fabulous attractions, and some very unique shopping and antiquing opportunities. On Friday, May 16th, we'll gather on the eastside of Indianapolis for a 9:30 AM departure eastbound on I-70. We'll stop on the SE side of Columbus for a 45-minute Gas, Food and Bio stop. After the quick lunch stop we’ll continue on, seeking out the curves and scenery that the area is known for as we weave our way towards Marietta.
Saturday morning, we'll gather early in the parking lot of the Fairfield Inn & Suites for the BIG SATURDAY DRIVE , departing at 10AM. Anticipate a full morning and afternoon of absolute driving bliss, with a stop for a picnic lunch (which we’ll gather on the way) at the Hannibal Locks and Dam along the Ohio River. After lunch, continue with the group for more enthusiastic driving as we find our way back to Marietta, or perhaps head off to do some exploring on your own. If you’d have your fill of curves, take the leisurely 45-minute drive along the Ohio on SR7 into Marietta to do some shopping or just relax. Saturday evening, the choice is yours – head out on your own or make plans with new and old friends for a group dinner at one of the many great restaurants in town.
Your Sunday is open… Sleep in, explore Marietta or plan a return trip on previously driven roads or find a new route! Inevitably, a small group will usually form a caravan back towards Indy, many finding one last thrill by running State Road 555 – The Triple Nickel – north from the Ohio River at State Road 7 to Zanesville, where I-70 will put you just about 4 hours from Indy. And don’t forget to stop in Chesterhill for a yummy breakfast at the Triple Nickel Diner!

This will be an opportunity to sharpen up your short game while visiting with other Miata-Golfers.
MEET UP: for breakfast at 9:00 a.m.
at Denny’s Restaurant at I-65 South Exit #95—Whiteland offramp. From I- 65 South, turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Denny’s is on the right, after crossing over I-65.

We will leave for the course after breakfast at approximately 10 a.m. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO DO BREAKFAST, meet at Denny’s at 10:00 or at the course at approximately 10:15 a.m.
There are no tee times for the Par 3 Course.
We will divide ourselves into two-, three-, or foursomes.
The Par 3 fees are as follows:
9 holes Walking = $12. w/cart = $19
SENIOR: 9 holes walking = $10 w/cart = $17
With 9 holes, this will be less than a 2-hour commitment,
even if you are part of a foursome.
If you want to play 18 holes, just play the course twice.

If you would prefer to play the regulation course, you will have to sign up for a tee time using the link provided on their website.
Our starting point will be Southland Community Church located at 5800 W Smith Valley Rd, Greenwood, IN 46142 which is right by the Rt37 interchange. Plan to arrive by 3:30 p.m., driver meeting 3;45 p.m., launch at 4:15 p.m. Ride will take about an hour as we cruise on some Miata made roads, around a local lake, along a river and across a unique one lane bridge before we end up at Mallow Run Winery.
Our final destination will be Mallow Run Winery located at 6964 Whiteland, Bargersville IN (this is just off of RT37). The winery will be featuring the band Taste Like Chicken, who will be playing a FREE concert from 6pm until 9pm.
They are a 9 member high energy band that specializes in upbeat dance music from Rock, Pop, R&B and yes...disco to about any genre of music, new and old.
Mallow Run Winery permits only their wine on the property. You can bring in your own food, but various food trucks will be available as well. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket! Should be an enjoyable evening with fellow Miata owners and live entertainment.
We will be sitting on the left side when you walk in.

June's event is on the road and will take place in Greenwood at Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Enter off of S. Madison.
Park in the Jockamo or The Suds lot. Note, Suds is closed on Monday's.

July's event is on the road and will take place in Fishers at Wolfies from 5:30p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Our August event will be on the road, visiting Zionsville

We will gather in the new open parking lot directly south of The Friendly Tavern at the corner of Main & Sycamore Street.
Main Street-Zionsville offers many dining locations. The group will eat at Rush on Main.
However, there are other options including The Friendly Tavern, Dairy Queen, The Scoop, Bubs and many more. Or bring your own picnic and mingle.

Join us for an informal "Miatas on Main" meet n' greet the last Monday of every month. This is the final event for this year. Restaurant will be able to seat everyone between 630pm and 645pm.
We will meet at Arni's Restaurant at 4705 E 96th street.
