Midsummer Rally to Madison, Indiana
Come join us on a beautiful drive to scenic Madison, Indiana, located on the Ohio River in southern Indiana. The rally will start in Plainfield at the BP Station located 2068 E. Hadley Road. We’ll meet at 9:30 and will depart promptly at 10 am.
The first stop is at a gas station in Martinsville around the 1 hour mark.
Just outside of Bean Blossom at the overlook we will add two more Miata’s from Shelbyville, Dave and Tom and their spouses.
Our second stop will be at another gas station south of Bloomington at the junction of 446 and Route 50 about an hour and a half later.
Lunch will be in Brownstown around 1:30. The restaurant is the Side Track’d. It’s a small place, but the owner said we’d be welcome.
We’ll arrive in Madison around 4 pm.
Our stopping point will be at the Bicentennial Park on Vaughn Street just north of the Ohio River.
Dinner will be at the Historic Broadway Hotel & Tavern. I say we meet sometime between 5:30 and 6:30.
At 7pm there is an outdoor concert at the Riverboat Inn which overlooks the Ohio River.
We’ll meet for Sunday breakfast at the Bob Evans at 9 am
